Mai Furukawa

Hi there! I’m part of the support team at Xaman Wallet / XRPL Labs and also a co-founder of XRPL Japan, working to drive XRPL adoption across the country.

A little about me: before stepping into the world of crypto, I worked as a writer and translator for a craft beer magazine. I discovered XRP during the COVID era (I was spending way too much time online), and downloaded Xaman, called Xumm at the time. One day, I stumbled upon a job posting from XRPL Labs on X, applied, went through two interviews and a test… and that’s how my XRPL journey began. :)

Outside of work, I practice kickboxing (semi-good) and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (beginner), and I also play the koto (a traditional Japanese instrument).
