How to Craft Amazing Articles on xpert.page
To help you make the most of this new blogging tool, here are some essential tips and guidelines:
Blogging Arena
1. Keep Your Article Title Under 80 Characters
Short, clear titles help readers and search engines understand your content quickly. Plus, it prevents your title from being cut off in search results.
2. Make Your Content Engaging and Visual
Use a mix of images, YouTube videos, and text to explain your ideas. Visuals keep your readers interested and make your articles easier to digest.
3. Stick to 5 or 6 Categories
Organize your content by choosing from your predefined categories. You can only delete a category if it has no articles associated with it, so plan your categories carefully.
4. Choose 5 or Fewer Relevant Tags
Tags help your article get discovered. Pick up to 5 tags that are directly related to your article topic, separating each keyword with a comma.
5. Select Your Article Visibility
- Public: Visible to everyone.
- Draft: Only visible to you while working on the article.
- Unlisted: Not listed publicly, but accessible via direct link.
6. Write a Meaningful Excerpt
This short summary appears in search results and previews — make it clear and compelling to draw readers in. Also note that, a max of 280 Characters are allowed in the excerpt.
7. Use less than 5 Images Per Article
Upload images through our widget, then copy the individual markdown code to place them exactly where you want in your article. Use images judiciously. Do not over do it. Make sure you are adding visual to add value.
8. Don’t Forget Your Cover Image
The cover image is critical for social media sharing and first impressions. Upload a cover image and paste its URL in the cover image section — make sure it previews correctly.
9. Important SEO Reminder
Once published, do not change your article title — it can negatively affect your SEO rankings. Use relevant keywords in your title, tags, and excerpt to maximize search visibility.
