The Xahau Voucher is one of the easiest ways to share crypto with friends, allowing you to send XAH to anyone, even if they don’t have a wallet yet.

This article covers how to create and share a voucher using the Xaman wallet.

How it Works

Vouchers are created and redeemed directly on Xahau using Hooks, which are native smart contracts on the network.

Each voucher can hold anywhere from 2 to 500 XAH, and accounts can create or claim up to 5000 XAH per month. (Limits subject to change)

Be advised: Anyone with access to the Voucher QR code can redeem the gift.

How to Create Your First Voucher

Step 1: In your Xahau account on Xaman Wallet, open the Voucher xApp and select “Create Voucher.”

Step 2: Choose an amount, select “Create Voucher,” and sign the transaction.

Step 3: Press “Share” to copy the link or QR code.

Step 4: Send it to your recipient!

If the recipient does not yet have a Xahau account, the link will prompt them to download Xaman Wallet. Redeeming the Voucher will activate their new account.

And that’s it. You’ve just created a Xahau Voucher!
